If your business holds personal data such as names, addresses and emails then this will affect you from May 2018. Attending one of our events will equip you with knowledge about the new directive and offer steps you can take to make sure you are GDPR ready.
This is an opportunity for you to ask questions about GDPR and find out how it will affect you, as well as planning routes to compliance. As the scope of GDPR and it's requirements differ from the Data Protection act, it is key that you understand what the changes are, as breach reports will be made mandatory for all.
If your current technology does not allow for tokenization of data, data portability, accurate and secure data storage or the ability for a contact to access their personal data files, then this needs to be addressed or your business will not be compliant. The penalties for non-compliance are huge, with fines of up to €20 million or 4% of global annual, whichever is higher.
This may be 18 months away but do not underestimate the changes this new directive will bring, or the steps you need to take to become compliant.
These events are free to attend, but spaces are limited.
